I normally purchase my seeds from two seed companies but want to begin harvesting the seeds from the peppers I grow. Is the best way just to scrape the seeds out of a fresh pepper and let them dry naturally?

Natural air habitat for no less than few weeks to a month will ready the baby seeds.

That's what I do. I put them on a paper towel on a plate, and just let them dry out in the kitchen.

If you harvest seeds from a fresh pepper, what is the shelf life for storing that seed, maintaining a high germination ... the seeds extend the shelf life?
