So this past summer, me and my friend, Erica, after several beers wander over to Ed's booth, both intoxicated enough to say "YES" when he offers us a slice of Carolina Reaper to chow down on. Yes, it is fierce. We did hit up the milk stand for a while trying to tame the heat.
When I make a hot sauce with Carolina Reapers, I go more for taste than just for the heat. I mix in other hot peppers, fruits and spices to give a more complex taste.
