After last year’s debacle with zero viable seeds from a certain seed company, I had to pick up some plants from a local nursery. For this coming season, I have gone back to one of my tried and true ones. Normally I grow Reapers but I have been asked for some of my hot sauce so I will be growing Ghost peppers. I also will not be growing Cayenne peppers next year because the plants I got produced a bumper crop. After drying and grinding, I had almost a pound of Cayenne pepper powder. With the addition of the Ghost, the rest will be my typical peppers. Thai Gong Bao, Guajillo, Ancho, Hatch, Serrano, de Arbol, Jalapeño, Bell and Banana.
